This stove is really impressive. I don’t just recommend stoves based on what manufactures say, but I try them myself too, usually a different one each season or two. This winter I swapped my Charnwood Island II (another amazing log burner) for a Charlton & Jenrick Purevison HD. I can see why they call it a HD stove, the glass pane is huge and its hard to keep your eyes off the flames gently lifting from the logs inside.
The next thing you’ll notice from this wood burner is the sheer amount of heat put into the room! At 82% efficiency, its one of the highest money can buy. Because of the position of this inset stove in my room, I can feel the warmth pouring out from my head to my toes! I’ve fitted two of these stoves for a customer this year already. They are very pleased!
